I hope my man Dale Jarrett can get a win this weekend. He had a good qualifying time(190.490) and he's starting 7th.

That is funny as hell. The odd thing is all I did was copy and paste it. Consider it fixed...  ;)

I have a bad feeling for those Hendrick's guys - I'm gonna guess that 6 Hendricks powered cars will fail to finish the race Sunday night. Here are the cars running Hendrick motors:
0 - Bliss
01 - Nemechek
5 - Busch
10 - Riggs
24 - Gordon
25 - Vickers
44 - Labonte
48 - Johnson

Funny stuff Gb, of the drivers in the race Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson have won it a total of 6 times. Others one each.

There are several interesting and exciting things about this Coca-Cola 600 lineup:
Check out how many Dodges will compete in this race (17 out of 43 cars; over a third of the field; Ford will only put 8 cars on the track)!
Bill Elliott will get behind the wheel at Lowe's. It's always nice to see an aging Georgia boy get a chance to compete. He will be the only representative from the Peach State.
Ryan Newman just continues to crush qualifying records!
The race will start in the late afternoon and continue on into the night. I'm thinking that track temperature will definitely come into play.
Last week, many of the drivers complained that the track just wasn't the same as in past years. Look for another big wreck like last week in the All-Star.
Will Joe Nemechek and Kevin Harvick continue their feud?
Will M. Bliss play rough with B. Vickers after being spun out at the finish line of the Open last week?
Will point leader J. Johnson get back on track with another win at his sponsor's home track?
Will Robby Gordon make another bone-headed move and cause another wreck this weekend?
How will the extra 100 miles affect some of these teams who have been having engine problems all year long?
Will Mark Martin run as well as he did last week?
Will Earnhardt Jr. & D. Jarrett actually do any better with their new crew chiefs in place?
All I know is that it should be a great race. I guess most people will be double-dipping on Sunday with the Indy 500 at noon and this race in the early evening. Enjoy the weekend gearheads.

I know that you've witnessed the recent media coverage of Ms. Danika Patrick. In your opinion, does this woman really have a chance to win this race? The reason I ask is because I heard an "expert" claim that she does. I can't see it happening, but you never know.

I have seen alot of info on her before this and understand she is someone fairly special and at some point has a chance at the big time. As for this race the only thing I know is she took the pole I believe. so I would say if she has a car that can last she should have a chance. whether that comes to fruition or not is hard to say. But rookies have to win at some point.

I am about an hour from the track-- lots of folks headed there Sunday.
The benediction for Sunday will be the following: Gentlemen (and Ms. Patrick) start your engines!   :( :)
