On Saturday, Sept. 1, the Saint Francis University football team will hit the field for its 90th varsity season and, for the first time under head coach Chris Villarrial, the Red Flash will be sporting a slightly different look. While the bulk of the Saint Francis road uniform remains unchanged from last season, the helmet will feature the University's new Block SFU logo. The logo is one of several new marks the Department of Athletics has rolled out over the summer to complement an updated primary logo, which still features the recognizable “Red Flash” script over a red lightning bolt.
