New scoreboard w/ video @ CCSU

In addition to expanded seating at Arute Field, CCSU is installing a new scoreboard with video replay.

Capacity should be about 6k+ SRO, and new scoreboard should be up for home opener vs. Lehigh.

Has CCSU tried to drop the State from all of its branding?

Has CCSU tried to drop the State from all of its branding?

Not really. I would say they are just "deemphasizing" using 'State' in their Athletic marketing/branding - but it is still a part of our brand.

For example, the CCSU acronym is sill used very prominently within the Athletics Department, as well as by students, alums, and locals - so State is still an understood and accepted part of our name/brand.

FYI - Our original Division I athletics wordmark/logo (before the silly cartoon logo) also deemphasized State.
