Lance Armstrong's Titles Might be in Trouble...

Missoula has a huge biking community. It's hard to find someone in this area that doesn't ride either mountain, or road bikes on a regular basis. There's even the BMX deal going on here now, and my grandson is one of the more competitive riders.

I'm happy to say that I'm part of that community, but on the mountain bike side. Occasionally, I step down a notch, and do some road biking.

When I do, I ride with one of my friends that's pretty close to the Leipheimer family, and he told me that Lance is pretty close to being stripped of his 7 titles!??!

First I've heard about this, and I'm distressed by the news, but it is what it is, I guess.

If Lance would have signed on with Air Jordon or MagLite, I don't think he would be in this situation.

So true. Well except for the part of BMX just coming to Missoula. It was in Missoula in 1982 but left for a time and then was back in Missoula in the late 90's or early 2000's.

Sometimes things seem to slip past you so I'll forgive you on that one.

The only thing I know about BMX is what I learn from my 13 year old grandson, and a cranky, POS that used to be fairly good in that particular sport, and was on a sponsored team back in the day. My knowledge level might be a little suspect with only those two resources to draw from, huh?!!?

Regardless, this thread is supposed to be about Lance, not what has/hasn't slipped by me.

What surprises me is that other than you, no one else has commented. I thought this was a pretty big deal!
