If it is like ND, 14 for a permit and 14 1/2 (and completion of 1/2 a credit of drivers ed, which is also required to graduate public highschool in ND) for a license. With the exception of farmers licenses which are like 8 years old or something like that.

I got mine on my 15th birthday, but I could have sworn they raised the age since then. These two must have just had learner's permits.

yeah, I think 26 had it right unless it changed. I was driving at 14 and some months and went in and got my pic taken and actual license at 15. I was driving on the farm roads and so forth at 11 and 12 though.

14 and 1/2 is the earliest one can get a learner's permit in Montana and 15 is the earliest one can get a license.

I think they changed it last legislative session to 16.
