Boone On Board To Ease Transition From A-10 To CAA

Chuck Boone has been here before.

As executive director of the Yankee Conference, Boone worked with Atlantic 10 commissioner Linda Bruno when the A-10 took over the football league in 1997.

Now, Boone – Richmond’s athletic director for 23 years before retiring in 2000 – is on the opposite side of things, assisting commissioner Tom Yeager and the Colonial Athletic Association, which is taking over the A-10’s football league in the 2007 season.

I'm sorry but when you equate the situation to Linda Brundo taking over the reigns there's nothing I can do but cringe. She's been a horrible commissioner for A-10 football, let's face it football has been the red-headed step child for the A-10 leadership.

I'm sure the CAA can do better but an article liek that doesn't drive the confidence home.
