We've played Lenoir-Rhyne once over the last 30 years, in 2007. Bad year to knock our non-conference scheduling, as it easily the best in the SoCon.

By my count, App has won something like 9 of the last 11. Yet, they still trail Furman by 5 games all time. App has only beaten Furman 17 times since 1971 (the year they started playing). So, App has over half their wins against Furman all time in the last 10 years. Prior to 2002 App's record against Furman was something in the neighborhood of 8-20-3.

I'll give you that App ran the series for ten years. Furman dominated it for the previous 30 and put it on the Apps in Greenville last year. Don't get comfortable.

App has had problems on Oline and big fast receivers aren't going to make up for that when the quarterback does not have the time or the arm to spread the field.

The App OL is in much better shape than it was a year ago and Jamal Jackson has got plenty of arm to spread the field. I'm not ready to say we are back to where we were a few years ago but we're heading in that direction.

Our 'slump' was an 8-4 season. We'll be just fine.
