Hey the NFL does the same thing, the Super Bowl champ normally plays a tough game to open the next season. The Steelers get Miami to kickoff the '07 season.

It could be worse, I remember all the Tampa fans bitching about opening their title defense in Philly at the 1st game at the Linc. The Bucs kicked our arses that nite too.
