As a Braves fan, I'm pretty bummed about it. I can never get enough Pete Van Werhen (sp) and Chip/Skip Carey. :(

As a fan of the movies TBS shows when the Braves aren't on, I'm happy. :p

I think this is all attributed to their play on the field

Are the ratings in the toilet this year?

Don't know what the ratings are, but when FOX purchased the Braves I knew that things were going to change quickly.

Ugh, thank God, I am tired of having the Braves shoved down my throat. When I was younger, they were the only team you could watch most of the time.

Are you on crack???? TBS's baseball crew is the worst I've heard. Well, the worst for a crew that doesn't include either Ralph Kiner or Phil Rizzuto. Most TV/Radio crews are homers, but those guys are also bad liars. They remind me of Harry Doyle (Bob Uecker's character) from Major League. The ball could be 3 feet outside and they'll wonder aloud how the opposing teams batters could lay off such "close pitches."

I doubt it is about the Braves play this year. I remember watching them everyday as a kid when they had guys like Bob Horner & Dale Murphy & still stunk it up. It is easy to see why they are called America's team though, since a whole generation grew up watching their games on Superstation.

Its not about the play of the Braves, TBS has bought into MLB rights and wioll begin airing weekly baseball games as well as all tie breaking and division series playoff games.

The later begins this season while the weekly games begin next season. The Braves will continue to air on TBS and slowly be phased out, I believe they said around 40 games will be on TBS next season.

Well, if you remember the generous strike zone they got for all those years...

Most likely, they'll just move to Turner South. Of course that means that their run as a national team would be over.

I could see this happening. They started being played less and less on TBS and more and more on Turner South. TBS has turned into a very good station and Turner South is turning into what TBS used to be.

I also wouldnt be surprised if Turner South starts being offered nationally in a few years.
