In six years, since leaving the Southside comfort of UAB for the challenge of becoming head coach at Samford, Pat Sullivan has been building for this moment.
The moment – contending in the rugged Southern Conference – officially arrived Tuesday afternoon during Samford Media Day.
“It’s time for us to take that next step,” Sullivan said.
