ITHACA, N.Y. -- As fall camp opened on Tuesday, several Cornell players have been singled out for preseason honors. The consensus remains that quarterback Jeff Mathews and wide receiver Shane Savage are headed toward All-America seasons. The most recent publication to recognize them was the College Sports Journal.
