Fourth on the team with 56 tackles (47 solo), second on the squad with 15 tackles for loss and third on the roster with four sacks ... Also broke up five passes, forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles ... At Texas State, he made seven tackles, forced two fumbles and recovered one ... Finished with three tackles for loss and two sacks in Lions’ rout of Mercyhurst ... Credited with a season-high eight tackles (two for loss) and a sack in win over Mississippi Valley State ... Matched tackle output in 51-3 win at Jacksonville, while also breaking up three Dolphin passes ... Had at least one tackle for loss in the final eight games of the season.

Athletic linebacker with huge potential … Participated in 11 games, finishing the season with 16 tackles and two sacks … Best game of the year came at Texas State, where he recorded eight tackles (two for loss), one sack, a fumble recovery and a quarterback hurry … Had five tackles versus Webber International.

HIGH SCHOOL
Earned one varsity letter as a freshman at East Ascension High School before transferring to Baton Rouge’s Family Christian Academy where the school did not have a football program ... coached at EAHS by Billy Beasley ... averaged 21 points, nine rebounds and three assists as a senior at FCA ... named First-Team Class C All-State and was the selected as District MVP, plus the All-Metro and All-Regional teams ... once scored 52 points in a game while leading the Flames to the 2000 Class C State Championship Game.
