ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State held its first scrimmage of the preseason Saturday evening, getting in approximately 100 plays during a steady rain that letup halfway through the session.Bulldog head coach Buddy Pough said he was extremely pleased that his squad got in a lot of work, however, he noted that he would have to wait until he and his staff viewed the film from the scrimmage to get a true evaluation of how his team did.
