Stony Brook University has accepted an invitation to join the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) as an affiliated member for Football, President Samuel L. Stanley Jr., M.D. and Director of Athletics Jim Fiore announced Tuesday. The premier Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) conference, CAA Football has produced 23 postseason appearances and two national champions over the last five seasons.
