ALCORN STATE, MS - The Alcorn State football team held its first preseason practice on Thursday, August 2, 2012 under new head coach Jay Hopson.The Braves welcomed 95 players to preseason camp, including 19 returning starters (6 offense, 7defense, 6 special teams). The top returners to camp include senior wide receiver Terrance Lewis, senior line backer Robert Gainwell, junior running back Arnold Walker, junior quarterback Darius Smith, and sophomore defensive back Casey Freeman.
