My observations:
*BEYOND shocked about A.J. Scott being moved from LT to RG. I've heard some JMU fans mildly complain about him, but they're not watching the same games I'm watching. I think he's an excellent player. Austin Lane must have something special, and Scott at RG solidifies the right side of the line somewhat. Or maybe they thought having two dominant guards (Watford could easily, easily play OT at the FCS level) would create some interesting matchups inside.

*Some of these I just don't buy. Mickey screws with the media sometimes, so we'll see how much this chart holds up. Sage Harold is easily our best pass rushing D-lineman, I can't see any way that he doesn't get more snaps than Snow. I've heard Snow is moving to DT anyway.

*Till is one of the Maryland transfers. These guys are never just handed starting jobs. And actually, I think he's the only starter that transferred this year. He runs like a deer for his size and hits like a Mack truck.

*Our specialists have good experience.

*I've always thought that Jordan Anderson is a slightly better RB than Dae'Quan, which JMU fans just don't want to hear. But I really, really believe it to be true.

What the heck happened to Jesse Hinz?!?!

Guy *STARTS* as a *TRUE FRESHMAN* at center during NDSU's playoff run in 2010. Then falls off the face of the earth.


Isn't even mentioned in the competition to find a new starter at RT or LG.

The roster shows him as a C. I guess coach Fuchs wants to keep him as C, in case Lund gets hurt or after he graduates. Just seems like a waste not to play him at LG this season then switch him to C next year.

Well, we may have just got younger on the DL. But, I still dont anticipate the DL being a weak point. Ask Georgia Southern or Chattanooga about our run D last year with 2 true freshmen starting at DE.

I doubt they play a higher tempo offense than the one theyre practicing against right now.

An experience secondary and a very talented LB corp will go along ways to enabling the DL to mature.

OL, we'll see. They can only get better from last year. And we've got a great handful of recievers, should help open the run some.

xlolx No part of our defense is weak, especially not on the run. I don't expect the Griz to score more than two TD's.

Depending on our O-Line's development by game two, I think we'll score anywhere between 24-36 points.

You don't know about high-tempo offense until you see the Apps this year. It's called JET and let's just hope your D is in better shape for this game as any other this season or you have a lot of depth on the bench.

I really don't expect to have much of a problem with this year's Montana team. Especially since we're playing at The Rock.
