Finally, some news on the football team on the SHSU website. :)

Todd Whitten points out a major difference in his second spring as Sam Houston State University head football coach that will impact Bearkat prospects for Whitten’s upcoming second season in Huntsville.

“Last year during spring ball, the new staff just was trying to learn everyone’s name,” Whitten said. “Now, after an entire year together, the coaches have gotten to know the young men and their capabilities and the players have gotten a better understanding of what we’re trying to achieve. We had a really good spring, and it certainly feels like we have gotten better probably in all phases of football,”

Football season can not get here any quicker!

Nice outlook put together by the wonderful folks at Sam. I'm assuming this is what will go into the media guide...
