Okay, they still have last year's roster online and number 57 last year was a senior, so I'll post another coach. Hopefully, they will put an updated roster up soon because I've just run out of football coaches to put up. :)

Chris Hampton, who played as a defensive back and then coached defensive backs, has joined the McNeese State football coaching staff as a defensive backfield coach. The new Cowboy coach comes from the staff of Central Arkansas and has also served stints at Georgia Tech and Arkansas State.

“We're excited to have Coach Hampton join our staff,” said McNeese head coach Matt Viator. “His experience both as a coach and player will be a valuable asset to our football program.”

The 26 year old native of Memphis, TN, played his college ball at the University of South Carolina where he was a two year starter and four year letterman at safety, earning the team's Harold White award for the highest grade point average. His coaching career began in 2008 as a graduate assistant at Arkansas State under Steve Roberts and then he served two years as a graduate assistant coach at Georgia Tech.

Hampton spent the past season coaching the safeties at Central Arkansas, helping Jestin Love and Jerrell McKnight earn all-conference honors while the team advanced to the second round of the FCS playoffs.

He graduated from Melrose High School in Memphis where he was a standout on the football field and on the track and served as the senior class president.
