Eman Naghavi, a former all-American for the Cowboys, is the newest member of the coaching staff, having come aboard in the summer. He's a 2008 honor graduate (Business Management) of McNeese and is presently working on his masters degree in Health and Human Performance.

He recently served as the offensive line coach and running game coordinator at C.E. King High in Houston, TX. During a four year playing career for the Cowboys, he earned all-conference, all-Louisiana and all-America honors for his performance on the playing field and all-academic honor for his work in the classroom.
