A sad day for ASU baseball, the job Coach Pollard has done for us is truly amazing. Hard to blame him for taking a job in the ACC. Duke has deep pockets and I can only imagine the pay increase he is getting.

Sorry to lose him but that is the reality of being a mid-major program. However, he has done such a good job that the Appalachian head coaching position is much more desirable than it used to be. I have faith that our program will continue to be successful.

Best wishes coach, and go App!

The reality of mid-major success. It's a hard knock life for us.

Really puts a damper on my day... I was looking forward to Coach Pollard continuing to move forward with our program. I hope he does not take too many coaches/recruits with him to Duke. If we can keep one of our top assistants/recruiters on board to take the helm, we should be able to minimize the damage.

Interesting decision. Rodney Hennon is never mentioned for any other jobs, but our fans love him.
