It's beginning to look at a lot more like Northern Iowa at Missouri State. No surprise. Good to see a former NFL player coming to coach at a I-AA school nonetheless, especially a former I-AA NFL player...
Dedric Ward to coach receivers at Missouri State
Associated Press
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Dedric Ward, who played for Terry Allen at Northern Iowa before spending eight seasons in the NFL, is joining his coaching staff at Missouri State.
Ward, whose hiring was announced Wednesday, will coach the wide receivers.
He was a wide receiver and kick returner at Northern Iowa, and in his senior year the Panthers won 12 of 14 games and made the semifinals of the NCAA Division I-AA playoffs. He played in the NFL for the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys, finishing his pro career in 2004. In 110 games he had 167 catches for 2,307 yards and a dozen touchdowns.

Oh yeah, From Missouristatebears.com:
Dedric Ward, an All-American wide receiver and kick returner in college before an eight-year playing career in the National Football League, is rejoining his Northern Iowa head coach Terry Allen on the 2006 football coaching staff at Missouri State University.
Ward will join the staff at the start of preseason drills in August and his appointment will carry through the 2006 season. Ward will coach the Missouri State receivers.
A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Ward was a standout for Allen’s last four teams at UNI from 1993 to 1996, including a standout senior season in 1996 as the Panthers won 12 of 14 games and reached the NCAA I-AA playoff semifinals. Ward gained All-America status and won a host of other honors in addition to playing in that season’s East-West Shrine game in Palo Alto, Calif., along with kicker Wayne Boyer of Missouri State.
After college, Ward spent eight NFL seasons, playing with the New York Jets from 1997 to 2000, the Miami Dolphins in 2001 and 2002, the New England Patriots in 2003 and the Dallas Cowboys in 2004. His best season came with the Jets in 2000 when he caught 54 passes for 801 yards and three touchdowns, and his career totals for 110 NFL games saw him catch 167 passes for 2,307 yards and a dozen TDs.
