The coach who made Tommy Haskins a star, by molding an I-formation offense just for Haskins.

I know Coach Moore at Appy. had tons of respect for Stew.

RIP coach. Haskins was as gutty a running back as I ever saw. Always had a soft spot in my heart for the Keydets and hated to see them leave the Southern Conference.

Bill Stewart was not only class act as a coach. He was also a good friend to those like myself who knew him. He will be missed. Here are a couple of links from College Sports Journal that tells part of his story:

Seemed like a great guy----until Holgorsen came along. May he rest in peace.
