I am sitting in Johnny Unitas Stadium about a half-hour out from the the Towson spring football game. It is pretty amazing the transformation that has been made around here since Rob Ambrose came in as head coach and what is happening now. Towson had a fantastic awards banquet last night, with some great food, great video presentations and speakers (including All-Pro OT and Towson alum Jerrod Bushrod of the New Orleans Saints). The Tigers also received some very nice rings as CAA champions. Should be a fun afternoon for Tiger Bowl II today.

The score was 14-7 Black at halftime. Some nice throws by redshirt freshman QB Connor Frazier and receiver Tom Ryan was showing his stuff, with great moves and good hands. Terrance West scored the first TD on the ground (imagine that) and Dominique Booker went into the Wildcat formation to add another just before the half. Some of the defensive guys catching my eye were LB Trey Jackson, DT Brendan Gannon and, of course, All-American safety Jordan Dangerfield.

Navassa Brown, listed as a WR, but playing a lot in the backfield, broke free for a 67-yard rush to the eight with a burst of speed to set up a White TD on a pass from redshirt freshman Price Litton to TE Daniel Vaughan from a couple of yards out. It is 14-7 Black late in the third period.

It is a 21-7 final for the Black. A nine-yard scoring run for Booker gave him two TDs on the day as he rushed 7 times for 45 yards. Navassa Brown, a walk-on, had 9 carries for 141 yards and Connor Frazier was 16-of-30 passing for 187 yards. Tom Ryan had five catches for 67 yards. Terrance West ran 9 times for 28 yards and a touchdown.

Funny how winning changes things.
Enjoy it & build on it!

It was a great day !!!!!.
I've been to games at TU, back in the day, that didnt have that many people.
Only injury concern was Givens (safety trans from Rutgers). Looked like it could've been a knee
