Back to the Satterfield Fast-paced offense of the NC years!

"Scott Satterfield, who helped install ASU's staple, up-tempo, no-huddle spread in 2004 during a previous tenure as an assistant coach, returned this spring as offensive coordinator with an assignment of making the offense better — and faster.

"Faster in terms of the pace of the offense and within the assignments," Satterfield said. "Whatever the players are doing, we want them to play fast.

"We started out the first practice going extremely fast. We made a lot of mistakes initially, but it didn't really matter to us as much because we wanted to set that tempo in everybody's mind. After that, they started getting better and better with the fundamentals and with the assignments. We've been pleased."

What do you mean? They're less busy than their predecessor. I'm not crazy about the grey number but every thing else looks sick. It screams Power Ranger and I love it.

I thought I'd seen them before, but this came from a coach Sloan Tweet. Do you know who made them and are you sure they're not official?

I'm guessing he does, but that mock-up was definitely done by Willie. That's not official. Besides, wouldn't you think Coach Sloan would know if we're getting new uniforms? My guess is, he's just tweeting it to get people excited for the coming year.

I was gonna tell Apphole that it looks exactly like the work my friend Willie did. I've posted thread on here about those uni's a time or two and they didn't get much traction but the dude does some cool work.

Almost every new graphic on AGS including user bars have done by him.

He did a whole lot of the Nike Combat uni's. The William & Mary ones are very cool and the old school Griz ones are pretty sweet too.

I think the coach may be misinformed unless Willie has an App State as a new customer for his design.

I'd love to see a school dish out a fairly small amount of money for his designs cuz it would be a start for a young graphic design guy that is really into FCS football but I don't think it's happened yet.

it's my understanding that, even though he likes to design tight fitting uniforms for other men, Willie is not even GAY! therfore he has NO SHOT at being a designer.

Coach Sloan at ASU responded to an email I sent him. He claims that ASU is considering the uniforms down the road. That's about all I got out of him, and even if I did get more, I probably couldn't share the information at this moment.
