First week jitters are out of the way for the Raiders, as week two of spring practice kicked off on Monday at 4:30 at Andy Kerr Stadium. Similar to Friday's practice, temperatures were in the mid-40's, but with a little more wind. However, there were no long sleeves out for the players as this team prides themselves on toughness through cold weather. Now that a week has passed, the coaches expect a lot less mistakes and also for plays to start flowing more smoothly, and despite a number of false starts by the offense (still adjusting to the new cadence), it sure seemed that this was happening.
