Richie Williams has made the Hamilton Tiger-Cats as the No. 3 quarterback, playing behind Fordham's Kevin Eakin, who is the No. 2 guy. He got a little fourth quarter action on Friday night in an exhibition win over Ricky Williams and the Toronto Argonauts. DaVon Fowlkes had a couple of catches and averaged 11.8 yards on punt returns. Fowlkes made the Hamilton roster on the practice squad, giving him some time to develop. Appalachian State's Wayne Smith, the former No. 1 draft choice in the draft a couple of years back, starts at left guard for the Ti-Cats. Hamilton has a strong representation of former I-AA players including: Corey Holmes RB/KR Mississippi Valley State, Tad Kornegay DB Fordham (former I-AA.org All American), Kamau Peterson WR New Hampshire, Justin Airabin DB Northern Arizona, Rob Hitchcock LB Weber State, and Damian Cook OL Bethune-Cookman. Josh Ranek, a RB who played for South Dakota State before they were I-AA, is also on the team.
