New Baylor Stadium

If you haven't already, check out the renderings for the proposed Baylor Stadium. It's contingent on fundraising, but they're expecting it to be complete by 2014. This would have to be one of the prettier stadiums in the country.

So inaccurate.

1) The Brazos River has never looked that pretty in Waco, TX
2) If you look at the photo of the fireworks, look at the fans. There has never been 45k happy Baylor fans. In fact, I think you're hard pressed to find 45k Baylor fans period.
3) The Gold Statue should be of the tarp..not Drayton McLane

Wow. That all I can say. I can't imagine the fundraising and the work that would take but good for them. The design makes me think of an European soccer stadium

I don't know - I watched the season opener vs TCU this past season & there was a good rocking crowd that saw a great game.

It's a nice looking stadium - clean, modern, and looks to have good sightlines.

The concept drawings have a certain utopian 'world of tomorrow' feel to them, but a lot of that has to do with the impossibly blue water and the impossibly white concrete.
