It was brought up on the Sports Reporters on ESPN that Manning is doing the same thing as Lebron, when looking for a new team. Manning is not being bashed like Lebron was. The difference IMO is, Manning isn't having a "Decision" show on ESPN and Manning is not in the prime of his career.

Also, LeBron didn't get pushed out to make room on the payroll for the #1 draft pick. He left on his own accord without winning his franchise a title and then made a huge spectacle of himself as he joined up with another superstar who has already won a ring on his own. Peyton won a ring in Indy, made them relevant again and had an injury to deal with that made things complicated. LeBron just left for greener pastures.

Yeah, huge difference IMO when Manning was cut and Baby-Bron-Bron was just looking to make a spectacle of himself.

I think it makes a difference, though, that Manning has already won a championship and LeBron is still trying to win one.

Manning has also won a championship.......

Plus Manning is probably one of the most well respected players in the NFL. He is considered on of the best leaders and all around professionals in the game. While Lebron is respected its no wheres near the level of Manning

The big difference, and the only one that matters, is that Lebron cut and ran from Cleveland leaving his team in the lurch while Manning's decision was made for him by the Colts.

The negative opinions on Lebron stemmed as much from the sense of betrayal as they did from his media spectacle. Manning on the other hand would have likely been happy to stay in Indy if the team hadn't decided to release him.

If he can play at anything even resembling the skill level he played in 2010 Manning will make whatever team he lands at about 50% better - day one
The guy calls his own offense for crying out loud and has a knack for finding the open guy

Am I a Manning Fan - Not really - but I can not deny the Bronco's with Manning would be DANGEROUS

What amused me was reading twitter, and all of these ESPN sources tweeting about Manning...and then I get to Jesus_M_Christ's tweet: "Suck it, Tebow"

Absolutely made my day.
