Should I attend the Phillies-D'Backs Game on 6/7?

Okay, I just got done watching the Phils beat the D'Backs 4-3. I haven't bought tickets for any of the games (I almost always attend one Phils game when they come to Phoenix). I cannot go to tomorrow night's game. That leaves Wednesday afternoon (1:40 local time start).

So, baseball fans, should I take a day off from work to attend the game? I haven't decided yet. I need some help.

I've decided to go. I saw in this morning's paper that Arizona scratched Cruz from the start due to an injury. They've called up some kid named Nippert from Tucson. FRESH MEAT!!!!

Yeah, that's right...it was Nipper. "Nippert" was the name of an old stadium in Cincinnati.

Game was impressive on many levels:
- Madsen goes 7 2/3 innnings. Retired the first 11 batters he faced. (The guy next to me mentioned a perfect game before the 1st hit, so I told him the hit was all his fault)

- Sal "Porn Star Mustache" Fassano goes 4-4 with 2 runs scored, a double and an oppostive field home run.

- Ryan Howard crushes a home run to the deepest part of center field (which is not dead-center at Chase Field)

- Jimmy Rollins hits a Home Run

- Tom Gordon throws a very efficient 1-2-3 9th inning, although it wasn't a save opportunity.

- Plenty of "eye-candy" wandering around the stands, although it's getting harder and harder for me to pick out the "jail-bait" among them.

The only downside was that the game let out of Downtown Phx at 4:30. Severe thunderstorms were hitting East Phx/Tempe at that time. The Storm, coupled with rush hour traffic, meant it took me 90 minutes to get from downtown Phx to my friend's house in Tempe. :(
