The Saint Francis University football traveled down to Blair Country in Pennsylvania to assist in a Habitat for Humanity build. “When you come to Saint Francis you are expected to be more than just a student-athlete, you need to be an active member of the SFU community,” head coach Chris Villarrial said. “We are proud to assist such a distinguished organization as Habitat for Humanity.” Several members of the Saint Francis football program took time off from their offseason training program to assist in a home build. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian ministry founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. The program builds homes for people in need regardless of race or religion and welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds.
