Haha.... ya... Anyhow, Colorado State should be winnable. Fresno will be tough. I believe these deals were hammered out before the Big Sky deal was finalized.

That actually happens a fair amount for teams in the Big Sky aside from the Montanas. I imagine they have a lot of trouble scheduling out of conference FCS foes.

Sep 1 Pitt. Maybe the best chance of getting a 1BCS win since the $$ games started. Pitt can't find a coach and seems to be losing players with all the conference shuffling going on.

I heard that UNI is going to be playing two FBS games every year from now on due to budget issues. I think their hope is to always get either Iowa or Iowa St and then some other regional FBS school as well. Next year they're at Wisconsin and at Iowa for two of their first three games. Then they follow that up by going to Youngstown St and home against NDSU the next 2 weeks. Talk about a murderer's row.... 3-2 after that stretch would be a massive achievement.

Another intersting note on the NDSU/Colorado St matchup next year. If you go off the Sagarin predictor column for this years final rankings NDSU was at 75.66 and Colorado State was at 55.44. Give CSU 3 points for the home field and the Bison are 17 point favorites. Quite the FBS/FCS matchup. xlolx

Others scoff at NDSU's scheduling of beatable opponents, I think it works on several levels. It raises the profile of the program, they still get a paycheck and it looks great at selection time. See 2010.
