Except that they need to list Ryan Howard as underpaid at 1B. He's making about $355,000 this year. I realize Pujols' numbers are better, but if you get down to "bang-for-buck," Howard is the better "steal."

With the year Pujols is having, there are no other 1B in the NL

I think Adrian Beltra takes the cake as most overpaid. In fact this might be one of the dumbest contract/signings in all sports recently.

-He's played in all their games

Unless Pettitte does something drastic, say wins the rest of his games, he will not make close to that next season. It was just the way his contract was structured, a balloon payment.
