At the 108th annual Philadelphia Sports Writers Association banquet next week head football coach Andy Talley and senior cross country and track athlete Sheila Reid will both receive major awards for their accomplishments during the past year. Talley will be presented with the Humanitarian Award for his work with the National Marrow Donor Program and Reid will receive the Outstanding Amateur Athlete award after being a four-time national champion during the 2011 calendar year.
