I think with the tune-up games he'll get this month in Texas he should be ready to go. Even Clemens admits he needs to get back into the throw and get everything squared away.

Have I mentioned before how much I hate that selfish prick??? "Wah...I'm old....Wah....I can't handle an entire season (while everyone else worth a damn thing in MLB can)....Wah...I'll sit out a few months because I can't hack it out as a full-time player (every 5 games)...WAH WAH WAH....I think I'm god....". :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:
At least he isn't playing in the AL East and I won't have to watch his 'highness' play on TV too much.

While I do agree with a lot of what you say there is no arguing that he is one of the best the game has ever seen.

Sitting out that long was the p*ssy way out and I'm sorry but you don't "earn" the ability to do that to teams. If you want to play then play, if not then go quietly into the hall of fame. I don't think he will do much pitching wise to help the team but leadership and morale will go sky high.

Where's all the folks that said he'd go to other teams outside of the Astros???

The Rocket is finally back in the Bigs and baseball fans will be in store for a battle of the ages next Thursday.

42 year old Roger Clemans vs 22 year old Francisco Lariano

Lariano's stuff is just nasty, this should be a great pitchers duel.

What you say has a lot truth; however, the other truth is that he can still command that deference. I'd love to see him in red pinstripes right now...:bawling:
