Trent Hurley has announced he has transferred to Delaware from Bowling Green University.
Former 3-star recruit from Western PA will have 3 years of eligibility at UD. Was 1st-team All-State in PA & took his HS team to the state championship game.

Looks like y'all offered him out of High School, along with Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan and Miami (OH). Ideal size for a pro-style QB, should be a great pick up.

Correct, like Flacco, we did offer the kid out of HS. Not comparing his potential to Joe but UD does shoot high on HS QB's contrary to many people's ideas...

Do you Hen fans think an FBS Delaware program would've secured him out of high school? I sometimes wonder when we lose recruits to W. Kentucky, Middle Tenn, etc. if their issue was FBS vs FCS.

An FBS Delaware program would be so awesome that we'd have Chuck Norris at QB...

Evidently, you haven't learned your lesson about transfers from the state of Ohio. xlolx
Seriously, he'll do fine at Delaware.

I'd rather have Chuck at safety. Nobody could score on ya ever. He'd just point at them and they'd take a knee.
You already have a good offense traditionally so no need to overdo it.

This after the ref flagged him for killing the ball carrier with a round kick - the last flag that ref ever threw...

Chuck Norris is a wuss who would be tortured by Jack Bauer with a lamp cord until Chuck admitted to having "work" done in the plastic surgeon's chair, then Jack would let the nuke explode and determine that if it had to explode in the US, Delaware was the best place.xninjaxxslapfightx

Does UD ever plan to groom a QB out of High School? ;)

I'm 100% certain all of our QB's came out of high school.
Ironically enough, the only FCS school with more QB transfers than Delaware over the years has been Montana. I'm assuming all of those kids came out of high schools as well.

That's what we like to call, "Game, set, match".
Nice one Henfan.

he was quoted in the local paper as saying he really liked Delaware out of HS but picked Bowling Green because it was 1-A
