Knicks and Celtics are playing a good game so far. Hope the Knicks can hang on to the lead.

We'll see if the Lakers can still compete, the new Clippers lineup, Dallas/Miami title rematch.
I'll miss the OKC game due to the Green Bay Packers game.

Dallas vs Miami at 2:30 EST
Chicago vs Lakers at 5:00 EST
Orlando vs OKC at 8:00 EST
Clippers vs Golden State at 10:30 EST

Knicks played close with the Celts, Knicks won in the end 106-104.
Miami routed the Mavs 105-94, while the Mavs fans booed Stern.

Lakers leading the Bulls 78-70 5 minutes remain in 4Q.

Nice game by the Wolves last night, nearly upset the Thunder. Rubio is going to be a good one, along with Williams. I can see them trading Beasley, unless he starts passing the ball.

I know the Hawks are the "forgotten" team in the Eastern Conference, but they beat the tar out of their first two opponents (New Jersey and Washington). Really the same starting five that has been there a few years (and advanced to the second round three straight seasons). Bench is a lot deeper than it has been in a few years.

Certainly, the Hawks are not the Heat, but don't be suprised if they make noise in the East.

Very happy with the performance of my Bobcats thus far. Took down Milwaukee and came frustratingly close to upsetting the Heat last night. Gerald Henderson could not have defended that game-winner by Wade any better. A spinning fadeaway off the glass... not much you can do about that.

Those are two of the worst teams in the east...

Pacers are three for three thus far this season...this team looks legit on defense...very long and athletic...what's weird is that these athletes can hit a j as well.

Hawks go to South Beach and put it on Miami.

Hawks 4-1 with the only loss coming on their fourth game in five days on the road. Not a bad start.

My Clippers aren't too bad, but are probably a good swing man away yet. (yes, I was a Clipper fan before this year. I joined the Clipper bandwagon (more like Red Flyer wagon) when Brent Barry won the slam dunk contest when I was 8, on top of being the Sonic fan I wasThe team of D-Miles, Q-Rich, Boykins, Brand, Dooling, Maggette, McInnis, Odom, Candy-man, and Piatkoski in the late 90's and early 2000's sucked but was fun to watch. I had many jersey t's of those players.........**** you MJ for taking that title away from that glorious 1996 team....Payton, Kemp, Hawkins, Schrempf, Perkins, Askew, McMillian, Snow, Ervin

Wow...I'm a freaking nerd for being able to name 75% of both of those rosters off the top of my head....I'm going to stop now.

They have had some injuries and played some tough teams great and some bad teams bad. Adelman has just been sizing up the players this first portion of the season. Rubio is moving into the starting rotation now. I think they will be competitive once they gel, and when Beasley and Barrea return. They are still one of the youngest teams in the league.

T-Wolves win at the Clippers on K-Love's buzzer-beater. After a tough shooting night by Rubio, he hits the tying basket 20 seconds prior.

Will we see Shaq in his underwear?

big Shaq Diesel vowed to show up next week only in his underwear if Griffin didn't clearly win the night's battle.

They are entirely different players and Jordan was on Love most of the night and Milicic was on Griffin.

Love 17 points, 14 boards, 3 Assists, 1 steal and 0 blocks, 0 turnovers
Griffin 21 points, 10 boards, 2 Assists, 1 steal and 0 blocks, 5 turnovers

Knew it before the season started, but I now officially root for the worst team in the NBA. At this point I really believe they will challenge the 79 Sixers for worst team of all time (in terms of winning pct.) Sad thing is, though they're attempting to earn the first pick, they most likely won't get it.

The Bobcats really do need to be contracted. I want to be excited about the NBA in Charlotte, but there's nothing to be excited about. Team has been a joke since its inception. I want the Hornets back!

Atlanta gets back on the right track with a win over Orlando. The Magic are a solid club, but they are a terrible matchup against Atlanta.

Hawks just need to hold serve until they can get healthy. Had a rough season injury wise.

My beloved Bobcats are off to a scorching 4-31 start. We haven't quite gotten it going yet but I expect we'll sneak in as the 8th seed. xlolx

Worst NBA basketball team I've ever seen in person, and it's not all that close. With the league now taking over in New Orleans and the possibility of losing the Hornets name, Charlotte really needs to bite the bullet and get our name back if at all possible. Re-branding and getting butts in the seats, along with spending the money coming off the books over the next two years, is the only way we are going to get things turned around.

Another quote from a classless Kevin Garnet. From punching rookies that outplayed him in practice to acting like a jerk with the public, typical Garnett. He just never grew up.

Strib Link (http://www.startribune.com/sports/blogs/144893485.html)

KG on Minn: "It's always special to come back to true fans ... But as far as that franchise, I have nothing positive to say."

What, exactly, is KG angry about when it comes to this franchise?

Could it be the chance the Wolves gave a skinny high school kid to play pro basketball -- a dream nurtured pretty well during those early years in Minnesota?

Could it be roughly $185 million he made in a Timberwolves uniform after signing two of the biggest contracts in NBA history?

Could it be the way everyone fawned over for his entire time here?

Could it be that when it became clear the Wolves were in rebuilding mode, they dealt him to a team that immediately became a contender and finally delivered KG his precious NBA title?

We haven't forgotten history. We know the roster could have been much better in order to give KG a shot to win a title here. We also know Garnett's disappearing acts in the clutch didn't help, either.

Bottom line: It's a ridiculous quote and a ridiculous attitude to have

T-Wolves have tanked without Rubio and a plethera of injuries. Currently Love and Ridnour are our, so usually 3 out of 5 starters have been missing since the Rubio injury.
