Chicago Cubs catcher Michael Barrett was suspended for 10 games and White Sox outfielder Brian Anderson five games for a bench-clearing brawl that led to four ejections.

I was surprised that A.J. got fined. He did nothing wrong. He was defending himself. If you are blocking the plate, expect to get leveled. I guess MLB had to do something with A.J. though.

AJ is a jerk too and could have slid in without intentionally smacking Barrett. There have been prior and subsequent incidents with AJ too. The guy is not a saint. Look at the video, he wasn't totally blocking the plate. If you intentionally smash a guy expect some repercussions.

Yeah, Ralph, repercussions, but not a cheap-shot sucker punch. Barrett deserves what he got.

AJ is a cheap shot artist not Barrett. Barrett made a bad choice and deserves the penalty but AJ makes a living doing this crap and deserves it too.
