View Full Version : AGS AUCTION #4! Tracy Ham Autographed Football!
Cap'n Cat
May 26th, 2006, 12:43 PM
Next up is an authentic leather mini football autographed by Georgia Southern and CFL star, Tracy Ham! A true treasure for any Georgia Southern or I-AA fan. Tracy remains one of the top quarterbacks to ever don a I-AA helmet. The autograph and football were obtained at the 2006 GSU Blue and White Spring Game, by yours truly.
Back in 1985, The Georgia Southern Eagles came to the UNI-Dome for a semifinal game which ended up being one of the greatest games in Dome, UNI and GSU lore! AGS's own D1B had the unenviable task of playing the entire game against Ham and that potent triple option they ran for years; back then, known as The "Hambone". Cap'n Cat was on the sidelines watching GSU pile up the yards until He could go back out on the field and help pile up some for the Cats. The game ended up having 1005 yards of offense, evenly split. Tracy Ham must have accounted for a huge chunk of GSU yardage alone! Incidentally, the picture behind the ball is of the UNI O-Line and Cap'n Cat ready to go down into his stance against Eastern Washington, the week before Georgia Southern!
Anyway, bid healthily on this neato I-AA/GSU item!!! Bidding starts at $15 and the auction begins at 1:00 p.m., Central Time, today, May 26. The auction ends in one week, on June 2. All proceeds go to AGS to enhance the fine work Brother Ralph and the gang do to keep us informed and updated daily! Buy it for your dad, the big Eagle fan; your boss and, man, it would look great in that frat house in Statesboro, too wouldn't it??
Thanks, everyone!!

Hollie,
It's not regulation, but it ain't like one of those the cheerleaders throw up in the stands as at UNI when we're beating the shnit outta Youngstown and the crowd starts to get bored. It's leather, very throwable and sturdy!
