WOW, what a performance by this guy, and he's only a sophomore? That's impressive.

I'll say, I tried making fun of Ned, but he is the real deal. Congrats SHSU, Good Luck in the Finals!

I guess speed beat size. Flanders put on a show for 287 yards?! It was funny to see how SHSU just handed it off to him over and over...and Montana KNEW he was coming and couldn't stop him....he even slid on some plays toward the end there. Now if he could catch the ball...xlolx

To paraphrase a famous poem from WWI...Montana met their "Waterloo" in "Flanders Fields"..(;-)

Yeah, and what's even more amazing is if you talk to most of the coaches around the SLC, they'll tell you Richard Sincere #6 is their best player ... but Flanders has outstanding, make you miss vision and can accelerate through a hole, and if you don't have the quickness or discipline to bottle him up, he'll kill you ... he's a bad matchup for Montana, who didn't appear to have much team speed or quickness on defense.

Reminded me of D. Swope of Georgia Southern, who is a Freshman. Great player!! Going to be a fun game in Texas if we make it past NDSU.

why did he transfer out of Kansas State?
He wanted a chance to play for a National Championship. :)
