The first fumble was a result of strong D Line play. The second fumble was ripped out of your hands. That isn't giving anything.

It isn't a relic in the Southern Conference.

Teams think they can't recruit unless they are throwing the ball around and most coaches don't have the patience to install this type of system and make it a cornerstone. It isn't because it doesn't work. Georgia Southern and Wofford are close to the top in rushing, total offense and scoring almost every year. You would think Minneapolis Bison was on this thread.

It was a track meet and GSU lost. Even our QB ran 55 yards to the end zone.


Until that last drive, NDSU really didn't dominate on offense. This was a game won by the Bison D. You beat Georgia Southern by keeping the Eagles from making the game a track meet.

It didn't appear that NDSU needed any ramp-up time against a very potent Triple Option. They were all over it from the first series. And Ga Southern sometimes starts slow and takes off in the second half. But nada. NDSU defense was all that it was billed, and more. All the smack was well backed up. I have never seen so many tackles made "through" blocks before. The GSU blocking was horrible alot of the game.

Props to all the Bison fans at the Dome tonight, the atmosphere was incredible. Can't say enough about how well our team performed from top to bottom - a good number of guys were dealing with the flu (including Jensen) and to pull out a gutty win like this is flat-out incredible. Such a great day to be a Bison fan.
