Indeed, just the way I like it. We'll actually know more about the 2012 Apps in the first two weeks as opposed to nearly a month or more this past year. xnodx
Think 2012 is tough, check out the OOC (so far) for 2013 and 2014.
2013:
at Montana
at Georgia
2014:
at Michigan
at McNeese State
Three years in a row where ASU can claim, arguably, the toughest FCS schedule in the country. xsmileyclapx

Are you being serious? I think next year is a bit of a rebuilding year, I could easily see 6-5, honestly.

It's schedules like this that ASU should have been playing all along. Games against NCCU and NC A&T in the past did nothing to expose weaknesses for the coaching staff and players to fix prior to conference play. At least with this schedule, they'll get playoff-quality football right away.

You beat us by a point in Paulson? Gosh, I'm so sick of Southern Conference officials. They are terrible!!! None of your 3 td's were legit. I am so sick of this crap!!! We clearly should have won and were jobbed by these guys again. I hate you SOCON officials!!!!!!!!

My prediction is 7-4 and a playoff berth. Tough schedule but I love it. I'd rather play that slate and go 7-4 than toss in a couple of cupcakes and be 9-2.

Yeah we really have a history of choking in the playoffs. I just wish App would have been D2 for years and won a ton of playoffs against inferior competition. Man, I would love to revel in that past and throw it around like it was Superbowls. That would be the life...

I wouldn't speak too soon on that. As the #2 seed, anything short of a trip to Frisco should be considered a choke for y'all. Good luck.

It's funny how lakes thinks FCS is beneath the mighty Bizun, and FBS is the only thing that counts - where the bizun belong. Yet he never hesitates to talk about their DII record.

Before the season started it was that #1 ranking during tranistion he loved so much.

D2 titles 7 for ndsu 1 for und. yea that record stings.
NDSU beating 4 FBS teams and ranked #1 in FCS twice
und never beating a fbs, never being ranked, LOST TO NAIA TEAM

No "choke" this year... expectations were low and ASU was VERY young. I said all year long the team would be "one and done"

Well, it's easy to say about other teams when your team is legendary only in your own mind. Maybe you could say that about the last two years, but losing to Montana, in the snow at Montana, in the semis, with a chance to tie the game is not "choking." I would even argue that losing to the defending champs and Julius Szczur, was not a choke job.

I'd like to see Maine do a home and home with App State. They have developed quite a rivalry........I think that the games would resonate with both fan bases at this point.

Even though I would love it. We aren't a rivalry. App has to win sometime to make it that
