San Diego: Eight Toreros recognized on PFL All-Academic Teams

Saint Louis, Mo. - The Pioneer Football League announced its 19th annual Academic All-PFL squads today. The USD Toreros, co-PFL champions, had a total of eight student-athletes recognized on the two squads. Four Toreros were automatic first team picks after they were named to the District VIII Capital One Academic All-District team - junior offensive lineman Matt Peleti (Laguna Nigel, CA; 3.59 GPA, Finance), senior fullback Nick Scudellari (Saratoga, CA; 3.66 GPA, Accountancy), sophomore defensive end Blake Oliaro (Folsom, CA; 3.62 GPA, Mechanical Engineering) and sophomore defensive back Robbie Beathard (San Diego, CA; 3.76 GPA, Accountancy).
