ST. LOUIS – Former Southeastern Louisiana University football letterwinner Kevin Hughes was signed to the St. Louis Rams active roster after spending the first 10 weeks of the season on the team's practice squad.

Great job Kevin! That makes him the first former Lion (since football was reinstated in 2003) to make an active NFL roster ... Felton Huggins (Buffalo) has been on the Bills' practice squad and is currently on injured reserve. Ray Perkins was on the practice squad with San Diego and Miami for a couple of years.
