Southland: Two Southland Teams Reach Second Round of NCAA Division I Playoffs

For the first time since 1995, two Southland Conference teams are playing past the first round lt;br />of the NCAA Division I Football Championship. No. 1/1 Sam Houston State, the overall No. 1 lt;br />seed in the playoffs, had a first-round bye, while No. 15/15 Central Arkansas claimed an lt;br />opening-round victory at Tennessee Tech to advance to the second round.
