It's slated to be finished by August.....................Great edition to the W.P. complex.

5000 seats.............L. Boxes.

Now if the state of Mississippi would make up their mind about Memorial.
A nice 40,000 seat Campus stadium would be the finishing touch to the W.P Complex.

With us, it's a on-going, campus wide thing.
They just completed the W.P. Complex Main Biulding, New Track, Softball stadium/fields, Tennis Courts, and now this, (baseball stadium), and a new Student Union starting this fall when they finish with the Baseball Stadium.
You know, putting all the atheletic facilities/student activities in one area.

Our team had to play in Pearl, Ms., this year rather than on campus.
The old baseball stadium will be the location of new School of Engineering Dept/buildings.

Trade off for baseball this year was they got to play at the brand new Trustmart Park Stadium that was just built for the AA Mississippi Braves,(Atlanta Braves).

Great..................but nothing like being on campus.

If she decides to come to JSU.................Look out for this name in womens track.

Brionica Knight...................Ridgeland, Ms.
This girl is #1 in highschool track.............PERIOD.

Reguardless of where she attends................You will see this young woman at the NEXT summer Olympics.
She has not lost a meet in 4 years.
She can outrun anyone on the JSU track team.......Women/and a lot of the men.

Yes, I've heard of this young lady. Your head women's coach Pauline Banks is a good friend of mine who I had the opportunity to know while we both competed in the SWAC. We still communicate to this day. Good luck on landing Ms. Knight! :bow:
