What is the best Inter league rivalry in baseball?

I have tried to give as many reasonable options as possible but in all honesty this really comes down to Chicago v/ New York. My personal vote is for Chicago since there is really a geographic city split in Chicago between the north and south sides. While the White Sox win the World Series it seems the Cubs still get the ink.

If it comes down to Chicago-New York, it should be Chicago in a walk. I'm a big Yankees fan and all, and might normally vote for them in something like this. But the truth is Mets fans hate the Yankees, and the Yankees don't really care about the Mets. If anything, I want them to beat the Mets only because I find their fans annoying and overly cocky. It's a nice rivalry, and a good story, but it's existance as a bitter feud of any sorts exists only in the minds of those in a swamp called Flushing.

As a Mets fan I disagree somewhat. All the Yankee fans I know hate the Mets. Just not as much as they hate the Red Sox (according to them). As far as hating the Yankees, EVERYONE hates the Yankees. That doesn't make for a rivalry. I would rather beat the Braves and Phillies, anytime.

My friend loves the Mets huge fan, yet when i talk ill of the Yankees he gets mad. I said to him once, your a Mets fan, i thought all Mets fans hated the Yanlees. he said that a New Yorker will root for any New York team, then he paused and added.. I know a couple of people that think like that. They root for both the Mets and the Yankees. I can't see it, but then again, I came of age before the Mets even existed so I was a Yankee hater (my Dad was a Brooklyn Dodger fan) before I was a Met fan.
