I think the wife of EKU's coach influenced both decisions, and I will stand correct until someone refutes me! I need to hear exactly why EKU is in the playoffs, why they are hosting, and why the game is on ESPN. If no one can come up with a valid argument, I will believe my story. :)

I read somewhere that EKU dropped a serious bit of cheddar for a home game...more than JMU actually...now as to why they are in the field...I cant explain that one (and thats not me making sour grapes...Liberty didnt deserve to be in the field after their performance Saturday)

Our offenses are practically mirror images of each other. By the numbers, JMU has the better defense hands down but EKU has a ridiculously good turnover margin. That's impressive.

eesh, don't agree with his picks or his reasoning.
For example, he says EKU struggles to protect the QB. JMU led the CAA in sacks. The is a huge advantage for JMU.

Can't explain why we got in. I only know that we have had the money put away since 2008 for being able to host a home game.....
We learned years ago that when it comes to the bid, money talks. We may take a loss on the game, but the AD and the admin was willing to spend for the home game.
