Overlooked - The punter Waxman for Maine........maybe the best at that position to ever suit up for the Bears.

Wow, Grimes overlooked for Offensive player of the year. Multiple 300+ yard games. Must have been due to the Tribe's record.

However, he did make both the First team and Third team... interesting.

Decker, with 20 TD and 14 INT, is not the CAA offensive player of the year. That honor, IMO, should easily have gone to Terrance West. Clearly the CAA just looking to give a senior the award.

Not to belittle UNH's accomplishments, but Brian McNally is not a first team all-CAA player this year. He had one big game, but other than that, he's been run on and really hasn't gotten to the passer. I think Chris Beranger, Chris Houston and Manny Asam in the beleaguered UNH secondary at least deserve consideration. Beranger is second on the team in tackles with 124, Asam is really long and athletic and has made some big plays, and Houston leads the team with 5 INT's. I think they'll be much improved next year.

Alan Buzbee, the LB not named Matt Evans, also merits third-team consideration.
