Did any other conference do even remotely as bad as the CAA did in predicting the final standings? Only one team, New Hampshire, finished in their predicted spot.

Can't compare to CAA, but the PL certainly had a lot of upheaval...except for Lehigh winning going away. After that the resurgence of Georgetown and Bucknell and the total collapse of Fordham, along with mediocre seasons by Lafayette and Colgate, resulted in a major reshuffling.

This was a really, really bizarre season. On so many levels. Really difficult to predict. It's been fun to watch, though.

The Ivies also had one.

Penn was picked to win this season, but a variety of inconsistencies among Penn and the other 6 teams, especially in Ivy play, was the key factor in Harvard's winning the Ivy title outright. There was a 4-way tie for second: Penn, Brown, Yale and Dartmouth (all 4-3 records in Ivy play).

Don't know about specific pre-season picks, but I think the SoCon went pretty much as expected, i.e. any one of GA Southern, App State and Wofford might win the title and almost all of the rest would have a chance at knocking anybody else off on any given Saturday. I can't remember ever feeling so uncertain about the outcome of games week-in and week-out.
