Sources have been saying Kevin Morris was in trouble before losing to Villanova and that the loss to the Wildcats pretty much sealed the deal. A lot of talk about Sean McDonnell being the next UMass coach.

With all the positives happening with UMass football off the field I could not blame him for leaving.....for a bigger paycheck!

Well UMass is willing to pay middle of the road salary for the MAC conf. That will be a big step up from what they are paying Morris. It will be worth it if we can get someone good. I would rather a young coach with something to prove then someone in their 50s. Just my opinion though.
